In #Istanbul many restaurants served these burning clay pots filled with meat and vegetables. At #TheHanRestaurant in the #Sultanahmet are of the city, Turkish traditions are their specialty. . . . We sat on pillow cushions with low tables and feasted like kings and queens. From fresh salads, flatbreads and these delicious stews I can’t imagine a trip to the city without a stop at this restaurant. . . . Eating healthy while travelling has been a real challenge. In #Turkey it was far easier with great stir-fry dishes, grilled proteins and lots of middle eastern salad dishes.
